My name is Elijah Matuzak, and I’m the founder of Legacy Canine Academy. I’ve been a professional dog trainer for nearly a decade and have helped hundreds of dogs and their owners build better lives together. I started this company because I’m passionate about giving dogs the structure and clarity they need to thrive—and teaching owners the responsibility and leadership that comes with having a well-balanced companion. Whether I’m working with obedience, reactivity, or serious behavioral issues, my goal is always the same: to create calm, confident dogs and confident humans to lead them.
